Eldred Prairie Work Party: Invasive Plant Removal
Friday, June 19 – 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Eldred Prairie, Lancaster, WI
Come enjoy the flora and fauna of Eldred Prairie and help us continue to remove invasive plants from this 45 acre prairie remnant. Weather permitting, ie no rain, we will pull/cut wild parsnip, sweet clover. Your help is important to improve habitat on this prairie.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring gloves, water, long sleeve shirt/pants (protection from Wild parsnip) and hand clippers and shovel/spade if you have one, otherwise they’ll be provided.
